Donations

Goods: We distribute basic long-life food items such as soup, beans, tuna, chickpeas, vegetables, spaghetti hoops, pasta, sauce, milk, rice, tinned fruit, rice pudding, tomatoes, meatballs, cereal and tea. We also welcome treats such as biscuits and chocolates. Our bags also include toiletries and laundry tablets, with sanitary products available on request. We like to help the people who use our services to feed their pets, so we welcome cat and dog food.

Money: We are more than happy to receive cash donations. This enables the donor to add Gift Aid (an extra 25%) to their donation, and to let our volunteers do the shopping for them! Donations can be a regular payment or a one-off amount, maybe from a sponsored event or windfall. Every penny counts and is gratefully received; each food parcel costs around £10.

Raffle prizes, including skills: Each season, we hold a fundraising event with a raffle. We have been extremely lucky to be supported by local residents and businesses, donating raffle prizes small and large.
